Watched this over the weekend.

At first glance, I thought Russel Crow was John Goodman.

I enjoyed the movie.

I watched 10 days ago when it released on Netflix. I was surprised, actually pretty decent film, for 2024.

I couldn’t get past some of the glaring errors:

- Obese Capt. wearing rank on a Hawaiian shirt and a cut up flight suit as a jacket.
- Asking a guy, “You HALO qual’d? No. Meh, come on and learn while falling thru the air.”
- Are you coming in on a Blackhawk or a UH-1? Yes!
- HALO from a Blackhawk? Um, okay…

Which is a shame, because the movie could have been made without these idiotic goofs and been fantastic. The errors were just lazy and didn’t contribute to the plot in any fashion.

I’d agree with you. But DEI/woke, blah bs, is a bad McDonalds combo meal. So in comparison, Olive Garden is 3 or 4 star food right now. This was a decent action film with military mixed in. At lease the DEI/woke stuff wasn’t shoved up our ass with soldiers making out and having a love story.

Service ceiling for the UH-60 is 19,000 feet. Minimum HALO altitude is 10,00 feet. So, sorta believable.

Does it have an oxygen system for the crew and passengers? I can't imagine that it's pressurized. It'd be pretty cold up there too.
