My high school teacher had a grey Fox body GT in full "Aero" kit. I lusted after that car. Now even a Civic can match or beat it. Red Face

I just watched the latest episode last Sunday, and it's still the same John Davis. Remarkably long career for any host.

My aunt had an '82 Camaro Berlinetta that I got to take for a spin once. My parents couldn't afford anything like that, nor would they let me have one if they could. Was a blast to drive, particularly compared to my '77 Chevy Monza.

Ah, the good old days.

Phone's ringing, Dude.

Had 2 friends in HS with a few
1 had 3 Fox body rollers, a 4cyl hatch & 2 notch rollers. 1 was destined for a 347 stroker that never came to be.
The other had a Turbo Coupe Tbird & a Super Coupe. The SC car was mighty quick for a high schooler

My first new car 1990

I lusted after the Nissan 240 SX coupe and the Mustang LX 5.0s but they were out of my budget with 11% APR, they were $15-16K. I ended up with a Honda CRX SI for about $11k

I bought a Mustang GT convertible my second semester of college (85)for ....reasons.
Handled a bit sloppier than the hard tops, but was still rather dramatic. Tires were expensive and it went through heater cores every couple of years. but a decent car. especially for the times.

What a hoot! Fun to see John Davis with hair.

A 5 liter engine puts out about 200 hp, does 1/4 mile in 14.3 seconds.

My 2018 Accord 2.0 T has 2 liters (obviously) puts out 250 hp, does 1/4 mile in 14.1 seconds.
