Anyone ever see this? It was about survivors of a ship sinking in a lifeboat. I remember watching it when it was on TV when I was a kid. I don't remember much about it, other than the senior officer had to decide which passengers got to live and which had to die. I specifically remember him throwing an elderly man overboard and the man's wife choosing to join him.

It made enough of an impact that I remember it 44 years later. It took a little searching, but I found it on IMDB.

I do remember now that you mention it. Saw it several times; very gripping every time.
