I just saw Strangers on a Train. Great suspense and humor. Studied his films in college. Master of the visuals. Never gore on the screen. You created that in your own head.

I haven't seen many. The Birds is my favorite, as it was filmed only a few miles from where I grew up. I have yet to tour the sites in Bodega, though I've passed by them dozens of times. I haven't watched a lot of his movies, but for me it'd probably be a toss-up between Vertigo and Rear Window. I also remember liking The Man Who Knew Too Much, the one with Doris Day. Hard to choose a favorite, but I'll just throw out The Wrong Man as one of mine. ****************************************************************************** Never shoot a large caliber man with a small caliber bullet . . .

Yup, that's about as good as it gets. (Besides that, it's a well made film.) When a thing is funny, search it carefully for a hidden truth. - George Bernard Shaw

Mine too. I love the scene with Cary Grant standing on the side of the road just before being attacked by the crop duster. _____________________________________________________________________ “One of the common failings among honorable people is a failure to appreciate how thoroughly dishonorable some other people can be, and how dangerous it is to trust them.” – Thomas Sowell
