I just saw Strangers on a Train. Great suspense and humor. Studied his films in college. Master of the visuals. Never gore on the screen. You created that in your own head.

I haven't seen many. The Birds is my favorite, as it was filmed only a few miles from where I grew up. I have yet to tour the sites in Bodega, though I've passed by them dozens of times.

I haven't watched a lot of his movies, but for me it'd probably be a toss-up between Vertigo and Rear Window. I also remember liking The Man Who Knew Too Much, the one with Doris Day.
