Yes, Max stole that movie with the few scenes he was in. You almost have to wonder what if Redford's character had gone to Europe with Joubert.

He also has some good lines in Atwood's office. He just died last year at 90. Quite a wide ranging body of work. He was Ming the Merciless in the 1980 Flash Gordon.

How anyone could have butchered a love scene with Faye Dunaway - but they managed. I though she was just stunning in TDotC. It was made and opened at the same time she was married to Peter Wolf. My college's student activities committee was sponsoring and promoting a J. Geils Band concert at the time and all of us 20-21 year old guys working the show in some capacity were hoping Faye would come to the show with her husband. We were disappointed
