Anybody else watch this? I caught it on Prime last year and just finished up season 2. It's a rather dark crime drama set in the rust belt (PA). Great acting and a good, albeit rather convoluted, story. Jeff Daniels and Maura Tierney are the main characters and do a great job.

There is a gay guy subplot that I find rather disgusting so I just fast forward through those parts, but the rest of it is really good.

Yay a gay guy subplot. That is why I never finished Ozark which was very good but I couldn't stomach the "love" scenes. Crazy graphic, totally unnecessary stuff.

We watched it and agreed the gay sex did nothing to advance the story. It felt like filler material for lazy storytelling. We skipped ahead at those parts. I don't need to see that shit.

I like Jeff Daniels so I gave it a try as a program to watch during the morning workout. I enjoyed it. Lots of plots/twist/turns and wondering who is the bad guy and or good guy and how will they be exposed and if and how some will be caught. (trying not to give story away)

Entertaining but overall a little far fetched in the whole storyline but worth the watch.

Spoiler Alert; I believe a 3rd season can be had..she wakes up in the hospital and who shot who at the end and how that plays out.

Daniels has worn out his welcome with me, I can't see past his history.

Mightily agree with the useless gay subplot. I also noted that there are almost no likable characters in the show - they're pretty much all scumbags of one sort or another. That said, I'd still watch a third season if/when it comes to Amazon.
