He seems unfazed by even the hottest sauce. I can't even get past Habanero hot.

At the end he announces that he is relaunching Good Eats later this year. My favorite food show.

Hot Ones is one of the best shows on Youtube. I highly recommend watching other episodes.

Rachel Ray, Russell Brand, Bert Kreischer, Key & Peele are some other grat ones that come to mind.

A few years ago, Alton did a segment at the Tennessee Aquarium about sustainable seafood. Super nice guy and his sense humor is very real.

Alton is great, and I would LOVE a show about him flying into small airports and checking out that town's food scene.

Thanks for the link, I subscribed to that channel.

I like spicy but if ever I get to wanting just pure hotness, I might as well stick my tongue out and jab it several times with a fork.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." I didn't know that he was a Music Video director/producer as well as a TV commercial director.

Very interesting.

Enjoyed his Good Eats days, his love of BMW touring bikes, high quality watches, high quality firearms, and now aircraft.

Glad to hear that good eats is getting a second go. Hopefully it's good.

I like almost all the cooking shows, especially "Chopped".

Alton Brown has been one of my favorite chefs long before cooking shows were cool.

As to Padma, she's smoking hot, but sadly, at least for me seems a bit full of herself along with some of the judges.

You can judge without being a verbal turd, which some are...

He's apparently a pretty devout Christian too, which I only heard about recently.
