FARGO Season 5 to air November 21 on FX If it is anything like the previous series, I'm ready to rumble. Since Season 1 with Billy Bob Thorton, it never ceases to entertain. Season 5 of the historical crime drama was announced back in February 2022 and will take place in the year 2019 Tuesday, November 21 at 10 p.m. ET on FX, with the first two episodes. If you miss it, you can stream the episodes on Hulu the next day. Fargo Season 5: Plot Season 5 is set in 2019, closer to reality than previous seasons. Creator Noah Hawley hints at a Western theme, a departure from the previous mafia setting, promising a unique storytelling experience. The show features a fresh ensemble of actors, including Juno Temple, Jon Hamm and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Returning favorites like Joe Keery, Lamorne Morris and Richa Moorjani provide continuity. Juno Temple as Dot Lyon Jon Hamm as North Dakota sheriff Roy Tillman Joe Keery as Gator Tillman, Roy’s son David Rysdahl as Wayne Lyon, Dot’s husband Jennifer Jason Leigh as Lorraine, Wayne’s mother and CEO Dave Foley as Danish Graves, Lorraine’s advisor Sam Spruell as Ole Munch Jessica Pohly as Agent Meyer Nick Gomez as Agent Joaquin Lamorne Morris Richa Moorjani

A quirky show that seemed to lose sight of itself as it went on, culminating with the too strange Kansas City mobs. Previews for this season kinda look like they may be back on track, I'm in! Set the controls for the heart of the Sun.

Man, I think I’ve enjoyed all 4 seasons for what each was: A story arc that seemed to stand on it’s own, but for a person or thing that seemed to be the thread hold all of them together, which on its own wasn’t necessarily important to the story. My opinion anyway. I can’t wait until this comes out. Is Noah Hawley still involved? “The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false-face for the urge to rule it.”—H.L. Mencken

Well that was fun. From “I’ve Seen All Good People” to the end of EP2 I was saying YES I'm all in.

We watched the first two episodes. It looks promising. I lost count of all the references to Coen Brothers movies, especially Fargo and The Big Lebowski: Kidnapping and vehicle stop by LEO Husband working at auto dealership, list of VIN numbers, True Coat "Kidnapped Herself" Nihilist losing ear (Ole & Uli) etc.

They took a well done (original) story/movie and turned it in to a progressively shittier series. This (hopefully) last season absolutely stunk. Woke/Progressive wet dream about stupid flyover country "toxic" (or stupid) males, with little or now redeeming value. What a waste of acting talent. Jennifer Jason Leigh's snotty, rich, WASP, was probably the most revolting performance she's ever done. Cartoonish at best, it went with a script that hopefully signals the end of this series. It's well past time for it to die. "I'm not fluent in the language of violence, but I know enough to get around in places where it's spoken."

I thought Dot was kind of a cool badass. Kevin McCallister got nothing on her. I laughed my ass off when she tasered those guys at the school meeting. I agree that they portrayed Wayne as a real pussy (even more so after he got the shit shocked out of him) and that it was mostly about strong women types. I did like the Trooper, though. Wish he would have shot that prick when he had the chance. Ending was weird as fuck. _______________________ “There is more stupidity than hydrogen in the universe, and it has a longer shelf life.” ― Frank Zappa

Must be a Minnesota thing - I liked it as it was better than most of the TV movies I have had to sit thru with my wife. It's not easy to walk away from a bad movie if the Wife likes it. Still ain't no Billy Bob Thorton Season 1
