Go back and count. After two one shot stops, round 3 went through member's only's arm. Rounds 5 and 6 went into Army jacket. Hammer is now resting on spent 5th round. He cocked the hammer to fall onto 6th round, not past it.

My eyes aren't what they used to be, but it looks like member's only has a hi power until the close up, when he then has a 1911. ??

That "Acorn Cafe" was recently McDonald's until October 2016. They tore it down and now it's a Hyatt Place Hotel. Before McDonald's it was Burger Island from 1991-1996. Before that it was Fat's Burgers. When Sudden Impact filmed there in '83, it was Tiger's Burgers. It started out as Doggie Diner No. 29.
