Great song btw, and definitely one of my all time sing along tunes!

I don't know why this song just popped up but it was one of my favorites in the early 70's

There is a local radio station out of Erie , Il, that streams in the inner net.

W.q.u.d. 107.7

They play a ton of music from that era.

It's fun to listen to because you will hear requests from people all over the nation

Several years ago I started to keep a list of songs that I thought were important to the history and development of Rock. I add to it only when I hear something and think of the list—-there’s probably 13 or 14 songs on it right now.

Here’s are the first two I thought of:

and there has to be something from the Beach Boys. I picked this one.

Buffalo Springfield, now that takes me back Smile I've managed to download just about all these old favorites into one of my favorite playlists on the iPhone. Maybe this thread might dig up another that I need to add, I'm just at about 20hrs of songs from my favorites currently. I know that others have lists that rival mine Big Grin

From 1973 that too often gets overlooked.

The whole album is pretty darned good too. I have it on vinyl. Smile

If you're not familiar with his work (he passed in 1988), here's a good play list:

Of course this song will end up on the scrap heap of history if the Cultural Revolutionaries have their way.
