A zombie apocalypse survival movie.
One never finds out what caused the zombies.
Meh, don’t bother.

Thanks. Good to know my instincts were right. I moused over it several times and just couldn't feel it.

So, just to verify, a good zombie movie is where you know the cause of the outbreak?

Wait a minute. You never find out what caused zombies in any of Romero's Night of the Living Dead films.

Some sort of back story tends to be helpful.
Never seen any of those.

You've never seen George Romero zombie films?! The basis of all modern zombie films?! Eek
Night of the Living Dead?
Dawn of the Dead?
Day of the Dead?
Land of the Dead?
(I don't acknowledge either Diary of the Dead or Survival of the Dead...)

Even Zack Snyder's 2004 Dawn remake didn't specify a cause of the outbreak.

Yeah, it’s painful to watch - not worth the time to watch a noobie fail at all that is known.

I am not a Zombie movie fan. 28 Days Later was about the only one I watched and enjoyed. Glitch was pretty good too but those folks were resurrected and not zombies per se.

There was no mention of the Zombie aspect in the synopisis.
I do enjoy good, nonzombie related societal breakdown, survival scenerio stuff. Which is what I thought this was.
Had zombies been referenced in the synopsis I likely would have not started it.

Even without the Zombies there was almost no back story to anything only a couple characters and very little.

I enjoyed it. Different, and the aboriginal angle was a nice change.
