have not seen the movie in a while, was it him... one of my favorite actors with one of the most best lines ever in a movie....

Yep, that was him. Also one of my favorite actors.

When I read the thread title, I thought "I know that line". Took me about 10 seconds to come up with the movie.

It too is in my top 10 favorite movies. Great acting by all, so many great scenes.

The Dr in that scene, (Ken Murray) is the guy you see on TCM when they show his home movies of the 40-50-60s stars at home, at the studio, and out on the town.

This is my favorite western, but I hate it. It would be a boring movie if the story were as I wish it was. I can't say anything bad about Stewart's character--he was such a good man, but in my story, Wayne would have been the hero, he would have credit for being the guy who shot Valance, and most of all, he would have gotten the girl.
