I ushered in a movie theater when the French Connection came out. We had it and I watched it 5 times a day for what seemed forever.

I'm reluctant to watch it again, but I do remember it as being a very good movie...even for jaded theater staff.

My two favorite "chase scenes" in movies has always been this one and the one in Bullit. I prefer the one in Bullit, mostly because I've driven the course of the chase a number of times
