1955 film that is extremely hard hitting. Shocking in parts. They actually filmed this in what was known as Sin City at the time, even when the killers had not been apprehended. Phenix City is in Alabama near the Georgia border and Fort Benning. Wide open gambling and prositution was the norm. Just shown on TCM.
