We just returned from seeing it and I wish I didn't. I didn't know much about it but figured it was a Transformer movie, so my son and I figured why not. It was more of a relationship movie than it was an action flick,(very little action).

Planned on seeing it on DVD someday.

I had understood that this one was supposed to take place in ~1987 after the real movie in '86. The '86 movie was supposed to take place in 2005 (?) so many will probably go see this one just because they have the look of the original series.

Then again, the original series that the Transformers started from would be The Man from U.N.C.L.E. back in 1974.
