Saw it when it was released with a bunch of cousins for a birthday party.
I was 5 years old and the youngest in the group.

I would put my thumbs in my ears and my fingers over my eyes.
I don’t think I saw much of the movie that time.
But I did enjoy it as a teen.

If you watch Jaws backwards, it is a heartwarming story about a shark who gives arms and legs to people who need them.

Wife and I watched and thought it was still really good right up until the shark jumped onto the stern of the boat. The shark looked hokey and we both laughed.

I saw it on opening night in Montgomery, AL, with some of the neighborhood guys. We missed the early shows, and barely got into the latest showing. It was eye-opening for me. I wouldn't even go into the deep end of a swimming pool for about a year, ha ha.
