Over the last couple years I've procured a few books, mostly on recommendations I've found in various threads around these parts. Once I've finished reading the book, I often set it on a bookshelf or (much to my wife's chagrin) on any horizontal surface within reach.

I'd love to pass these along to fellow members here, and I'm wondering:

Does it make sense to start a thread where we can post a book we're finished with and then send it off to a fellow member that's interested? Does it make more sense to just create a karma thread for books?

My preference is a thread where people can offer books up and then send them away, as I feel like I would be creating karma threads very often. On the other hand, I also understand that not everyone would like to deal with, or can afford to ship books around the country.

What do you think?

Since we've moved, we lost the large 'den' we had that had 4 large bookshelves. We have a lot of books in boxes that I'm wanting to migrate to Kindle. So I'd be up for passing along some of them as I get them digitized.

I've been the recipient of a few book karmas on here, could be a fun 'pass it forward' idea.
