You're conflating the nicknames of two characters on The Sopranos. Vincent Pastore starred as Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero. Dominic Chianese starred as Corrado "Junior" Soprano (Uncle Junior) and is also known for his role as Johnny Ola in The Godfather II (1974). | |||

"Big Pussy" was named because of his past skills as a cat burglar, also there was a "Little Pussy" in the mix (Uncle Junior wanted to kill him at Artie's restaurant). I really liked his character. Living in Baltimore around the corner from the Eye-tallyons, in the 60s, I knew guys like him. Big hearted, nice, but you just knew not to overstep the Welcome mat. Sopranos was one of the best TV series ever, so well written and the cast was spot on, I don't remember seeing someone cast in a role that didn't fit. RIP Big Pussy... | |||
