We will pass through the American patrols, past their sonar nets. We will lay off their largest city and listen to their rock and roll while we conduct missile drills. Then we will sail to Havanna where the sun is warm and so is the comradeship

This is one if my all time favorite movies and books.

Ramius spoke fluent English. I always assumed the conversation was in English. Otherwise, they would have used subtitles like they did when Ryan and Ramius first met. . .
