Instruments are great. The vocalist, being German, seems to making an effort to enunciate the words in English, which is distracting.

As Vaalic posted, Richard Cheese does lounge act style covers of all kinds of top 40 hits. Hayseed Dixie does a bluegrass version of the same concept, and while searching for a good video of theirs to post, I ran across these guys, who are surprisingly good:
