Well, you don't. But gathering up a rocker like Anika will be a great start! Anika Nilles debut Holy hell she's got it! Can't wait for the properly produced audio to be released later this year, I'm sure. These guys just keep falling in shit and making it into gold! Or, a sausage! This is absolutely true. The little I have heard from Anika Nilles on this tour is that she is a great drummer, but does not replicate Peart's signature sound. And there is nothing wrong with this, rock history is filled with these kind of situations; The Who, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Cheap Trick, etc. The best a band can do is work with a new drummer they like, that gives them a spark and groove to play like the old days. And if Geddy and Lifeson are happy, great. Saw them in Fort Worth last Saturday, they put on a good show. Multiple tributes to Neil throughout the show. Anika is a great performer and is approaching her place in the band with a lot of humility. The approach all 3 band members are taking is working in my opinion. Well, you can't replace him. She is doing an excellent job. But, as an artist how long can you go on playing someone elses part. _________________________ OH, Bonnie McMurray!

In this case, only ~40 more tour stops. I don't think they are going out again. Playing someone else's part is the remarkable part for me. And not just someone, someone who was a generational talent in his craft, wrote music that pushed that talent further and further and worse yet was revered by his fans. Stepping into that job takes quite a bit of gumption. You only have integrity once. - imprezaguy02

I think Gil Moore from Triumph would be an excellent replacement. Let all Men know thee, but no man know thee thoroughly: Men freely ford that see the shallows. Benjamin Franklin

well said having seen in the past 10 + yrs many bands that have lost members, and replaced with good artists, lots of bands tour with replacements, from death , old age, etc and still put on great shows, there are several I have seen that are only 1 of the original members, and have put on a good show, not saying this to knock Rush or anyone, but bands move on, https://chandlersfirearms.com/chesterfield-armament/
