Who’s out there that you haven’t seen yet, but would like to? This isn’t about wishing you could see the Beatles, it’s current touring performers you would like to see. For me: Mark Knopfler is at the top. He’s probably my favorite living guitar player; Van Morrison. He just makes great music; JD McPherson. I just like his version of Roots Rock and think the band he put together is outstanding; Dwight Yoakum. I just like his take on Country, the Bakersfield Sound, I guess they call it. Great singer-songwriter; Brian Setzer and his Orchestra. Love the old rockabilly stuff going back to Stray Cats, and, come to think of it, I believe there’s a Stray Cats reunion tour upcoming. _______________________________________________________ despite them

Kris Kristofferson. Will be seeing him in January. Neil Young. David Gilmour. Always wanted to see Neil Diamond, but never got the chance before he retired for good. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Looks like Gilmour hasn’t toured since 2016, Gus. I hope he goes out again too. _______________________________________________________ despite them

I just missed him in NYC a couple years ago. Bought tickets and booked a flight, but the guy who was supposed to work for me couldn't do it. Dang near broke my heart. I really hope he tours again soon. Somewhere. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

Oh stewardess, I speak jive. |
My current short list includes: Sade, Tom Waits, Billy Joe Shaver, and That 1 Guy (Mike Silverman), as far as artists I'll go out of my way to see that I haven't already seen. But I'd definitely enjoy catching Yoakam, and Lyle Lovett, and tons of others if I'm able.

mC cartney is coming here this summer, I'd take a free ticket to that if I could see him w/o bino's Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. Neck Ties, Hats and ammo brass, Never ,ever touch'em w/o asking first

We stumbled into a club in the East Village one night many years ago. Tom Waits was on stage and I will never forget it. Nor will I forget the gal I was with. One of a kind...both of them. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

Got our tickets for Knopfler, 5th row, center stage. Can't wait. Can't think of too many other big names I'd like to see but haven't. Alison Krauss, KT Tunstall, Leo Kottke, Paul Simon, Brian Setzer all come to mind.
