I've stumbled upon a bunch of remixes by Skeler, many times not knowing the original song he was remixing. I then listen to the original and am impressed with how much better he made it. For example: A$AP Rocky - Fuk Sleep (original, meh): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pM5XogpX1JA Skeler Remix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNsJqOvl5l4 Doja Cat - Need to Know (original, awful. Most of her music is.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dI3xkL7qUAc Skeler Remix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1YGJBKBpLI Oliver Tree - Jerk (original, not bad): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpU_aN54eJA Skeler Remix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lOJfABwe5Y VIZE Feat. Lannia - Stars (original, it's ok): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAvzTXv9Mvc Skeler Remix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_q8v8B4gKQ Juice WRLD - Conversations (original, not great): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcQ71ubUXAE Skeler Remix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUEVJ0N6I1A Devilish Trio - As Light Fades (original, it's ok): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ObL_9ilGR0 Skeler remix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMxt7_ihFEI Lea Rue - I Can't Say No (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOc7GTYIWOQ Skeler Remix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wthBFpSHcSQ Cannons have done some pretty amazing remixes that I prefer over the originals too. The Isley Brothers - Footsteps in the Dark (original, fantastic song): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dyq9zlYMw9g Cannons cover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1PR2bIw-Xw Bruce Springsteen - Dancing in the Dark (original, not a fan of him personally): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=129kuDCQtHs Cannons cover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7r_xgV-z88 Kings of Leon - Sex on Fire (original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RF0HhrwIwp0 Cannons cover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sf27VOEDPKk

Help! Help! I'm being repressed! |
I really want to like Cannons. I don't like the fact that they mess with her voice so much on EVERYTHING they put out. I want to hear her sing. Back in the early 2000's I was learning German in college and was looking for German music I could listen too. I stumbled on Lafee. I recently looked her up again and she released a 80's "cover" album a couple years ago and although the songs are what I would call "reimagined" as directly translated songs rarely work, I really like it. She does a cover of Thomas Anders' Heisskalter Engel which is a "cover" of Real Life's Send Me an Angel. My mind goes back to my favorite movie as a kid, "Rad" whenever I hear this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvpekTB7WEE Another one I like is Goldhouse's cover of Fleetwood Mac's Dreams. I like the original, but this one is "modernized". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zM8Oh3TPOR8 He also remixed Billie Eilish's Ocean Eyes which I do prefer over the original. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFrXmm3r8iQ He did Zara Larsson's So Good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U__3KRudhEo Another guy I follow is Sigala. I really like his Easy Love which samples the Jackson 5's ABC. Not technically a remix, but thought I'd include it anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozx898ADTxM
