I really want to like Cannons. I don't like the fact that they mess with her voice so much on EVERYTHING they put out. I want to hear her sing.

Back in the early 2000's I was learning German in college and was looking for German music I could listen too. I stumbled on Lafee. I recently looked her up again and she released a 80's "cover" album a couple years ago and although the songs are what I would call "reimagined" as directly translated songs rarely work, I really like it. She does a cover of Thomas Anders' Heisskalter Engel which is a "cover" of Real Life's Send Me an Angel. My mind goes back to my favorite movie as a kid, "Rad" whenever I hear this.
