One of my favorite movies growing up.

My mom used to watch a lot of those old black and whites on AMC (back when AMC showed mostly only black and white movies), and I found that I enjoyed watching a lot of them. Them! was particularly memorable.

A few year back I turned this on and my teenage daughter moaned about watching an old black and white. She landed up enjoying the movie. She even remarked that the New Mexico State Police uniform hasn't changed much.

My favorite of the genre, it seems to have a fair amount of product placement: Colt OP and DS revolvers,Stereo Realist cameras and viewfinders, Ford Motor Co. cars and even Ritz crackers.

Ah, the good old days, when highway patrolman carried Thompson submachine guns in their trunk.

...and I never knew Leonard Nimoy had a small role in this movie until TCM pointed it out.

Watched it at my friends house one evening when I was 9-10. My house was about 400-500 yards down the street, when the movie was over it was dark out and I ran all the way home.
