Was browsing through Amazon Prime Video and I came across this movie. Hadn't seen it in over 20-years, is a favorite amongst my friends in the surveillance and investigation fields. Don't see too movies made like this anymore, a bit nostalgic seeing what San Francisco looked like in the early 70's. Interesting fact, written and directed by Coppola and was nominated for Best Picture, which went to The Godfather II...also written & directed by Coppola.

Good movie. Interestingly enough, both John Cazale and Robert Duvall appeared in both movies.

There's quite a bit of Coppola alums: Harrison Ford, this, Apocalypse Now and Amer. Graffitti Cindy Williams, this and Amer Graffitti Fredrick Forrest, this, Apocalypse Now, Tucker and One From the Heart Teri Garr, this, and One From the Heart Quick check of credits and Billie Dee Williams is listed uncredited in a scene, I'll have to go back and watch it again.

This is a superb movie. We missed it when it was first released but we corrected that last night. You should see it if you haven't. When a thing is funny, search it carefully for a hidden truth. - George Bernard Shaw
