Violent Night, a new Christmas movie
.

I watched the trailer for Violent Night, and Santa kinda reminded me of jljones. Big Grin

Santa is humble, unassuming, quiet, and funny to those on his "Nice list" but those on his "Naughty list" ~ it's a different story...

I just came across this on IMDB. Reviews are saying it's a new Christmas classic in the vein of Die Hard, albeit a bit more violent (as its title implies). I'm going to have to watch it when it comes out where I can get it (Redbox, streaming, etc.).

Thus the metric system did not really catch on in the States, unless you count the increasing popularity of the nine-millimeter bullet.

I took my son (just home from basic training), and we LOVED it. I thought it was funny, and there’s absolutely nothing cerebral about it…which is a quality I like in a movie.

David Harbour was wonderful.

I had numerous laugh out loud moments. Really enjoyed it and thought it was a lot of fun.

We thought it was an entertaining movie. Beverly D’Angelo looked very different.

Excellent movie. Wife and I saw it yesterday. Howled all the way thru it.

I saw it was available for streaming rental on Amazon Prime, and had planned to check it out this weekend, but then saw that it was $20 to rent it! Eek

I'll wait another few months until it's either just a few bucks to rent, or possibly available for free with one of the various streaming services.

Same here, will wait until it is streamed under Netflix or Prime.

It was entertaining. Not even close to Christmas classic material though. Dragged a bit in the middle. Picked up towards the end where all the violent Santa bits are. That was fun.

Pretty enjoyable, some funny moments.

I normally wouldn't pay $20 to rent a movie, but the wife and son and I were going to see it at the theatre, so $20 was much cheaper.

My wife thought it was all a bit much, but my son and I really enjoyed it.
