If you haven't seen it, Rogue Heros is a series based on Ben Macintyre's SAS: Rogue Heroes book. It is largely factually accurate, and is very well done.

It covers the prelude to the SAS, the disasterous first mission, and the creation of a bond with the Long Range Desert Group (LRDG).





My favorite character is played by Tom Glynn-Carney is Corporal Michael Sadler, 4 Rhodesian Anti-Tank Battery, seconded to the LRDG and then L Detachment SAS, and then 1 SAS to the end of the war.
