Gresham College was founded in 1597 by Sir Thomas Gresham in the City of London. It has no enrolled students and grants no degrees. It's mission has always been to provide free lectures to the public. Since 2001, these lectures (~140/yr) have been made available online. Check it at Gresham College or look on YouTube.

Thanks for posting that, Jim. I was previously unaware of this great resource. I just listened to a full lecture and found it to be quite engaging and thought-provoking.
