Mistake Not... |
The first season I thought was very good. The second season started off like a good remake of Clear and Present Danger but then devolved into unrealistic and eye rolling stupidity on many levels. Just finished watching it last night. I'll never believe that Josh Krasinski was the right casting choice for the Jack Ryan role, but I thought the series was entertaining and mostly well done. | |||

Wife and I finished it last night. Both agree that it stretches beyond our ability to suspend our disbelief. There is just so many “oh give me a fucking break” moments Still entertaining enough we will watch season 3 when Jack Ryan single handedly invades and conquers all the moons of Jupiter —————————————————— If the meek will inherit the earth, what will happen to us tigers? | |||

Just finished Season 2 and found it to be as lousy as Season 1. It's amazing how cheesy they manage to make it considering the source material. I can't decide which is worse: this version of the Jack Ryan universe or the God-awful Mitch Rapp that came out a couple of years ago. | |||

I'm only on E4. What really bothered me was a dude taking a 3 1/2" blade through the eye socket like a champ and still functioning. I liked it a lot but I absolutely wasn't watching it with a critical eye. I saw Air Force One in the theater and paid money for it (on a date even) and Jack Ryan was better than that. God help me if I ever encounter something worse than that.
