A while back, we bought an Octane Fitness Airdyne-X bike. The brand is under the Nautilus Inc. umbrella. Recently we had a storm come through, lots of lightning, knocked out the transformer to the house, fried a TV and the electronics to the Airdyne-X. I contacted their CS line, the rep asked for the serial number and stated the electronics weren't covered, but he would get back with me.
Received an email from Nautilus customer service today, they are covering the cost of the unit and shipping. We have more than one Nautilus product, very nice to see them step up unexpectedly and cover their product.
