Staring back from the abyss ![]() |
Watched a good film tonight. Based on a true story, it's a sort of coming of age story set in the 70s of a young artist (painter) trying to learn from his mentor - an old drunk Russian impressionist who had fled Stalin's regime. Wiki has a good summation of the plot It's a very well acted and rather touching story. A nice change of pace from the action movies that are everywhere. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil."
