I live across the street from the Four Seasons Buenos Aires, where Sir Paul is staying until next week. He has a couple of shows this weekend at a nearby stadium.

Been a Beatles fan for most of my life and i think this is as close as i will ever get of a (living) Beatle, maybe shouting distance but not betting i will get a glimpse of the artist whose report of his death was exaggerated back in 1966.

Am actually very surprised how few fans lie siege to the hotel as i’m used to large crowds turning up for current celebrities and scream endlessly day and night.

Love is all you need.

He was here in the quad cities a couple of years ago.
Was bound and determined to go see him in concert.

I had to say no to the $2,600.00 ticket price.

Slim chance of getting a picture but i’m astonished by the lack of fans surrounding the premises. A dozen at most.

My sources informed me of Paul’s food requests (no meat) and that while he’s staying at the FS, the rest of the group stays at the Sofitel, next block. There are an uncommon number of americans in the area.
Wife and I had dinner at the Sofitel last night, around 10pm and i can confirm that while the restaurant main room was empty, there were quite loud americans on the side room.

My spidery senses tell me he’s been whisked to a Estancia (ranch) and might be staying there with local friends. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

So, Sunday i’ll be streaming his show at home.

I knew a guy that worked Customs at an international airport. They got word a VIP was coming through and it Paul.
Said he was very approachable and as nice as could be. I’d love to shake his hand for the decades of entertainment he’s given me. Smile

Use to be very knowledgeable about all things Beatle related but forgot most of it by now.
While Lennon sang “the walrus was Paul”, it was John dressed as the Walrus in Magical Mystery Tour. There was some story about why John said that during the period they didn’t stand each other (see Ram album cover and John’s picture mocking him, the song how do you sleep, etc).

Still no significant number of fans surrounding the hotel. Someone caught a glimpse of Paul leaving the hotel in a car and i heard a slight disturbance but not long enough to walk to the window. Beatlemania is over, that i can assure you.

Most of his fans are probably using walkers and can't lay siege to a hotel for very long.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Did you like the movie Yesterday, 0-0? Just wondering. I loved it, and I'm actually not a big Beatles fan per se.

Paul made me laugh!

As i was returning from lunch i saw a crowd had gathered in front of the Four Seasons, waiting for Paul to leave for tonight’s final concert at a nearby stadium.

I planted myself at the corner of the street, knowing well the cars should drive past me. Cellphone in hand, video recording.

The police bikes readied up and turned on their sirens, the crowd cheered and the vans made an U turn and vanished in the opposite direction. Band on the run…

Just had to laugh. Really cheered me up.
Still smiling about it.

Big Grin
