Watched this yesterday and it was a better movie than the original. Similar to the extended BvsS movie, the longer versions allowed character development and filled in some gaps in the plot. Kind of like the extended versions of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Knowing it was 4 hours long, we watched it early in the day and weren't disappointed. Steppenwolf was a formidable villain.

After seeing the Wonder Woman action sequences in JL, I was wondering what the hell happened with them in WW1984, which were so cheesy. Almost like the older Batman sequels with Jim Carrey, Arnold Schwarzenegger & the one with Alicia Silverstone.
