Dangerous Female (1931)) ... Satan Met a Lady (1936) ... The Maltese Falcon (1941). Third time's a charm. Better than the two preceding films. I have my own style of humor. I call it Snarkasm.

I disagree on True Grit. I tried to watch it, but turned it off in less than 10 minutes. Unwatchable. _________________________ NRA Endowment Member _________________________ "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. I actually like this version a little bit more than the Wayne original. Same with 3:10 to Yuma with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale, even though Glenn Ford was great in the original. IMO, John Carpenter's The Thing is a superior remake of the Howard Hawk's original, The Thing From Another World. RED DRAGON is a quality remake of MANHUNTER. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are undisturbed. Luke 11:21 "Every nation in every region now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists." -- George W. Bush

Not just as good, but better, was Man on Fire with Denzel Washington. Much better than the earlier European version.

Hopefully, no one mentions RED DAWN or POINT BREAK. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are undisturbed. Luke 11:21 "Every nation in every region now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists." -- George W. Bush

The darker Batman Begins(2005) with Christian Bale just a tad better then Michael Keaton in Batman(1989) "All great things are simple, and many can be expressed in single words: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope." --Sir Winston Churchill "The world is filled with violence.
