Loved this band, truly one of the more unique sounding bands in the 70’s. Breakfast in America was a masterpiece. “Bloody Well Right” was my favorite, though. Sad to hear he was so sick, at least his suffering is over.

In high school, there were some albums that were iconic at the time, just huge. One was Frampton Comes Alive, the second was the soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever, and the third was Breakfast in America, just a monster record, everyone in school bought a copy. It really helps a band to have two very good, prolific individual songwriters. It's too bad Davies and Roger Hodgson had a falling out, but they leave a great body of work.

I'd add The Wall and Bat Out Of Hell to that list, but...yeah.
