Richard Davies Loved this band, truly one of the more unique sounding bands in the 70’s. Breakfast in America was a masterpiece. “Bloody Well Right” was my favorite, though. Sad to hear he was so sick, at least his suffering is over. “Posterity! You will never know how much it cost the present Generation to preserve your Freedom! I hope you will make good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven, that I ever took half the Pains to preserve it.” ― John Adams "Fire can be our friend; whether it's toasting marshmallows, or raining down on Charlie." - Principal Skinner.

Sorry to hear this. It seems like a rock or music great that I liked for years has died every month. "But, as luck would have it, he stood up. He caught that chunk of lead." Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock "If there's one thing this last week has taught me, it's better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it." Clarence Worley

In high school, there were some albums that were iconic at the time, just huge. One was Frampton Comes Alive, the second was the soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever, and the third was Breakfast in America, just a monster record, everyone in school bought a copy. It really helps a band to have two very good, prolific individual songwriters. It's too bad Davies and Roger Hodgson had a falling out, but they leave a great body of work. "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

I'd add The Wall and Bat Out Of Hell to that list, but...yeah. Sad day. ________________________________________________________ It is long past time for a Convention of States. The Founding Fathers gave us this tool to fix an out of control government and we need to use it.
