First episode was pretty good. I like John Bernthal so far but the ICE agent seems miscast. The only thing that bugged me so far is the stereotypical white male in the NRA hat in the support group.

Yeah wtf was up with that? Have those assholes ever even spoken with an NRA member? It was so unnecessary to write that in.

I'm on episode 3 not bad at all. My wife is still at work so I'm getting in as much as I can. On a side note Longmire season 6 is on as well.

Mmmm Chinese...I wish I lived somewhere where I could order something delivered besides high dollar pizza and low dollar porn...

This looks good. I like Bernthal in roles like this. I might start tomorrow.

The stereotypical white male NRA member reappears in episode 3. The PTSD guy almost shooting his dad adds nothing to the episode I hope that sort of crap doesn’t continue but guessing it will.

I really like it so far.

I don’t know.... Marvel’s Universe seems to really line up with what Hollywood thinks our soldiers are...

My wife and I just finished episode 3

I really like the punisher. And how berenthal portrays him

I'm getting a little tired of the evil vet bullshit though. Between the kid that almost kills his dad and the NRA stereotype guy, plus the whole evil army in Afghanistan is pissing me off...

It doesn't improve in that aspect, in fact it gets worse.
There is also too much BS dialogue in the show. They could trim an entire episode or two off and we wouldn't miss anything.

I watched four episodes last night. It has it moments but I just don't think it lives up to the hype. I agree with the dog whistle stereotypes. I think it is probably leading up to the classic "white privileged vet snaps with evil assault weapon" story line.

Meh. I may try to watch some more of it tonight, or I may just switch to Longmire and come back later.

I like it. Okay, the PTSD vet is kinda overplayed, but I dig the interactions between Micro and Frank.

Six episodes in, and I haven't seen an ICE agent yet. Was it a quick appearance?

Madani’s badge said ICE in great big letters. It’s 22:50 into episode 1. The left side of her ID said dept of homeland security but it’s a bit harder to make out.

I'll stick with it till the end since my wife likes it as well. Any violent show she will watch and even enjoy is OK with me. I agree, the vet PTSD stereotypes get annoying as hell.

OTOH, I also met them all at the gun show today... Eek Big Grin

It took until the last episode to figure out why "Billy Russo" seemed familiar. Season 2 ought to be fun.

And FWIW, Micro's wife is dreamy. Big Grin
