I went with a friend last night to the Club Casino in Hampton Beach. Phenomenal show! Smallish venue, 3rd row center stage. Couldnt have been much better! Kenny's skills on the guitar and Buddys showmanship (he's 85) were incredible. The Blues are still alive and kicking!!

The thing about Kenny Wayne Sheperd, I swear, he was born with a guitar in his hands.

I have seen Kenny twice. He is a talented performer. The first time was shortly after he graduated from the bars in NOLA. Excellent performance. The second less so. Outsized ego. I have seen hundreds of musicians play over the years, Kris Kristofferson was always laid back and interacted well with the audience. Kenny did not seem to have that stage presence. Well Buddy Guy---enough said.

I saw Buddy Guy play at a festival several years ago. Great show. Everyone went wild when he went out into the crowd with his 100' guitar cable. He wasn't even scheduled to perform. He was filling in for Luther Alison, who had just passed away.

At the same festival I got to see John Lee Hooker, Chuck Berry, James Cotton, Koko Taylor, and many other legends. Great festival.

I believe that Samantha Fish is also appearing at many/all of these KWS/Buddy Guy shows. She’s phenomenal

KWS is good no doubt. Too much ego. He should have stuck with Noah Hunt.

He did stick with Noah Hunt. Kenny sings more lead now but Noah's still there.

edit: Just picked up their new CD this weekend. Liking so far.
