3/4FlapCalling Rolan_Kraps.....{Midwest Industries thingy}
How is the Midwest Industries freefloat handguard going for your Ruger PCC?
I might buy one but I need your approval, first.

3/4FlapThanks for the link.
I saw that one but wanted to leave that alone as it seemed referencing the magazine.
I'd like to see what Rolan's experience is with the FF tube specifically; fit, attachment security, etc.

So far I've only put a few round through it, but really like it. Better than the original.

3/4FlapThanks Rolan!!
Locks up tight? Fits?
The description on the site seems to indicate some Rugers don't mate well with it.
Sights on mine line up well which was referenced as a problem. Maybe I'm overthinking this and the problems were early on and current production guns and tubes are A OK?
I like the Ruger factory one better {got that MP18I look about it}, but this thing looks like it would do what I want it to do.
The Ruger is a bullet hose/plinker for us and we like to run a bunch of bullets thru it fast and the barrel gets hot.
Your muzzle brake is over the top. I like it!!
LOL
I just stuck a 1/2-28 FNFAL-type brake on an AR so it would take a FAL bayonet {for no practical reason, admittedly} and I'm thinking, you know, since I have a spare FAL bayo laying around the Ruger might be next. LOL. Would need a little bigger hole thru the brake, but that shouldn't be too challenging.
These Rugers are great.
I've got mine set up for Glock mags w/ mag release on the right side so I use it just like an AR {I'm left handed}. Left the bolt handle on the right also.
Truthfully, I'd rather have it set up for SIG 320 mags. Called Ruger and they said they have nothing for sale and won't say if such a thing is in the pipeline. But as the GI pistol and w/ 21 round mags available, I'd think that would be a no-brainer.

It has run ok so far, but I've only put about 30 rounds through it. You can't load it with an Uplula, but it loads pretty easy.

marksman41Thanks for the info., Dave. I've been looking hard at a CMMG Banshee in 9mm, but this Ruger in your configuration may take precedence.
Does the carbine feel unwieldy with the drum magazine?

Rolan_KrapsJust a PSA for you guys. The TACCOM Ruger PC9 rail does NOT fit if you have added the front Midwest Industries free float handguard.
