So I guess I can say that I can officially build bolt action rifles now! This is the first build for a customer. It's identical to mine with the exception of the scope. His Bartlein barrel was one serial number digit off from mine. I also used a Triggertech trigger, he used a Bix n' Andy trigger. I set it to 2 pounds, 10 ounces.

He came over today and we test fired the rifle together. He's a VERY happy customer!

I made carbon fiber pillars for this one.

I was teaching my son what's involved in bedding, so I marked up all the bedding areas with a sharpie so he can see where the epoxy goes and where the clay and tape go. Soon he'll be doing some prep work to help me get work done quicker.

It looks very nice. I really like the stock.

I couldn't see the ammo very well, was it a Federal loading?

Great shooting from both the rifle and the guy behind it. Congratulations.

Thank you! The larger group was three shots of Federal Gold Medal Match 175 grain. The smaller was four shots of my hand loads: 169 grain SMK's under 43.0 grains of Varget.

Nice.
Are there plans for finishing the stock? There's some good grain in the wood.

Thanks! Yes, he's going to finish/stain/seal the stock this week. He's shooting it in a match tomorrow.
