This is the latest build I've done for Wes. He wanted a classic match M14 rifle built and he found a nice Barnett barrel that was like new. It had been previously mounted on another action, but only a borescope would have told that tale. It was nearly new.

This rifle was built on a LRB Arms receiver with the core components being GI parts and has one of my welded/unitized gas cylinders. The trigger is a Shooting Sight trigger with a speed hammer. I'm not sure where he got the stock, but it's very thick!

I Bedded the rifle with Pro Bed 2000.

The rifle came out great! Accuracy was excellent during it's initial range session. I asked Wes if I could hold on to it and shoot it during the latest CMP GSM match and he agreed.

I took it to the GSM match and shot in the "unlimited modern military" class and it shot fantastic! At 200 yard slow prone with iron sights I scored a 99-4X!

During the 200 yard rapid I shot a 98-4X!

For standing, I just told myself that if I could shoot in the 70's, I'd be a happy man. Well, I shot a 72. I'll take it!

This rifle came out great, and I'm happy with the results.

Tony.
