Ooof. Well, hopefully it wasn't too bad with shipping. I know that's where some of the guys on Reddit were getting theirs, so I'm glad you were able to source one. From one range trip to the next, it may not seem like it does anything, but I did two range trips where I spent an inordinate amount of time and paper towels swapping between the 45 and 40, then again with the 45, 40, and 35. The difference is noticeable. I think you'll be happy you did it, especially shooting suppressed.

Just an FYI: I too had an Midwest Industries folder on my ARV and got rid of it. Besides having a cheek weld that was too low for my optics, I experienced the same difficulties getting the stock out of the open position. I went with one of these folders and though the stock was still pretty tight when extended, the check weld is perfect.

Yeah, that’s the Lage/A3 tactical stock. I have a couple of those and think they’re pretty nice. Had one on both my PMXs and Kuna, but swapped them out for the factory stocks, mostly for the correct factory look than anything else.

FWIW, I did see a pretty alarming video sometime last year on Reddit of one of those unlatching and starting to collapse during a full auto string of fire on Lage 5.56 Uzi build. Luckily, the shooter let off the gas before there was a problem, but it was definitely an "oh shit" moment. I need to see if I can find it. Less a problem with a semi-auto that doesn't have an FRT in it, but all the same, worth mentioning.
