Anyone here own an Armalite DEF10 or have any experience with them?

Looking hard at the A series (MagPul/DPMS mags) for about 850 in my hand, and can't come up with anything else that comes even remotely close as far as value.

They look to be a good starting point for a custom build - or slap a red dot on it and be done. Either way, they look to be a pretty outstanding value at the sub - $900 price point.

Opinions?

I have a couple Armalite rifles and really like them. One turned into a custom and is really an awesome shooter.

The Armalite DEF 10 is an excellent rifle for someone getting into the AR-10 world. My buddy has 2 of them that I have shot a few times. I am impressed with them.
