Picked up a pretty clean HK 270 22lr, it was missing the sights of course

I plan to run a scope , but would like to replace the sights if possible

I think there were 2 flavors , drum style sight and more traditional blade style front sight with leaf rear

I have the drum/ diopter style
Read that the rear base takes the same rear sight as MP5 and others?

The front sight sips over the barrel and looks like it’s pinned or a set screw maybe.

Anyone have a source for the front ?
Numrich shows a blade style front sight, not the version on my rifle.

Coincidentally enough, I just posted a video on the HK300. I can tell you that most HK sporting rifles are rare and parts are hard to find and expensive.

HK300 vid

If the video doesn't show enough detail for you, feel free to reach out and I will send you more detailed pictures.

Buffer was shot , ordered one from a guy in Australia
Pretty much given up on a search for sight parts
Mine has the drum rear, not the sporting style
The front sight seems impossible to find

Shot it once before I figured out to check the buffer, it made a nice little group at 25yds

The buffers can definitely be an issue with these rifles. Glad you were at least able to get that part fixed!
