I've had mine that long too and have only even cleaned the gun 3 or 4 times. Also never touched the gas plug.

| I shoot mine suppressed and I clean them at the same time as I clean the suppressor since its the same set of equipment. When I used to shoot it unsuppressed I'd take it apart every 2-3K rounds. You don't lubricate.
