Found this one local to me. Nice wood, not perfect but will be a good keeper/hunter for me. 452 Classic model, is my favorite style. Wouldn't change a thing on these, well maybe. I plan to lighten the trigger a bit and add a nice scope.

That's a great score, those are excellent shooters! Yours has pretty wood, too.

I had some fun culling the squirrels and my grandmothers when I went home, enough to be on the hunt for a new .22 rifle.

CZ always looks fantastic, trying to decide between CZ and a Kidd build now.

Nine years to retirement! Just waiting!

Thanks fellows. I found the date on it. It is a '99 model. As soon as I can shoot it I'll report back!

Love my 457 Scout. Actually dumped my Ruger American after I bought it, because it was that much better. I'm still kinda hunting for a full-size "American" stock for it, but for now the rubber butt pad is delivering the length of pull that I need.

92, I may have a 457 American stock and barrel for sale soon if you are interested. I have a Lilja barrel and KRG stock for an upcoming build.Won't need both.

Well, when the time comes to post it in the classifieds, give me a shout! If I haven't blown all my spending money on other stuff at that point I'll be interested, lol.

Beautiful rifle, enjoy it!

Years back I bought a CZ 452 Lux and enjoyed it so much I added an Ultra Lux, then a Full Stock, then may as well round it out so I bought an American. Here's the American with a Leupold Rimfire 2-7.

ridewv, that's a great looking stock on that one too! CZ makes an awesome bolt action rifle.

I’ve only got three: a 452 Lux, a 457 Lux, and a 457 Varmint MTR.
I believe they will go to my grandson, unless my granddaughters get interested.
Plenty of guns to go around, especially .22’s.

My 2 fav CZs (527 & 452 ZK-M). The 513 basic was my first love, so simple.

Love my 452 American ... get a leupold EFR 3-9 scope with the adjustable parallax.

The trigger guard is the only weak point, a company makes replacement bottom metal that looks fantastic (I have one) and matches the 452 perfectly. Look them up.

CZ rimfire's are tack drivers, last thing I would sell

I believe I have a 455 target with a thumbhole stock hiding in the safe. If so, its unfired other than the testing at factory.
Yours looks quite nice with a better stock than most I've seen locally. I've been intending to get an American 457 for a light plinking gun for a while, but I always find something else that takes my extra money.

A Perpetual Disappointment...

Stone cold shooters, you should love it
There was a guy on Rimfire Central selling $15 trigger kits back in the day
Oversized pin/shim for the sear and a lighter spring
It made for a crisp 2lb trigger , can’t recall the guys name
Edited
Think I found him

CZ and Tikka are in a neck and neck race for the winner of the “affordable quality” Rowan in 22 bolt actions. It is a shame no one in the states can compete in that price range.

Shoots nice groups with bulk ammo.
