All that sounds great, and I’ve thought about the rail protecting the suppressor, but I also never want my hand forward of the muzzle. Suppressor or not. And if I ever want to carry it in its short 8” configuration without the suppressor I wouldn’t want a hand guard forward of that by much. I think over decided to go with a 7” BCM or possibly a 10” suppressor diameter hand guard and the .45 3 lug adapter will only be about 1/2” short of the hand guard.

So I guess I’m going with about what you’re using
