I am looking for a very specific upper. Essentially a Colt AR6951 or to say a slick side upper (no forward assist or shell deflector) and w a rail on top (no carry handle). I have been searching for a couple days online and have come up empty handed.... Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Correct. I have a ar6950 that I sbr’d and really like it. I was so happy that I Built a spike ar w their dedicated 9mm upper w 3” barrel (I sbr’d that one was well) which is super slick, dependable, etc the only downside is I get a face full of glasses when I shoot suppressed w that gun. I was hoping to swap that receiver out w a ar6951 so I can use the gas deflector that I was recently able to secure through Brownells.

Sorry if I was not clear. Just looking for the stripped upper. I have everything else. Just looking to swap out spikes upper w a regular upper so I can put the gas deflector on the upper.

FWIW.. worst comes to worst, gas deflector is easy to modify to work with a shell deflector.
