Very nice. I'm generally not all that excited about lever actions, but I like this one. .357 is a good cartridge for the carbine. | |||

Does that have the octagon barrel? It's hard to tell form the pics and my eyes.  I love the large loop as it is easier on the fingers.Very nice gun. At first I didn't care for the tube loading through the top but after handling one and using it, I appreciate it all the more now. It is very easy to load and nice to have options. | |||

Yes it has the octagon barrel. You can tube load and or side load with this model. I’m narrowing down my calibers and this fits with my S&W .357 revolvers. Now because I live in California I get to wait 10 days to take it home.
