It's cheaper than a LAW as it doesn't do the same thing. Lots of LAW experience and that's pretty darn good. No experience on this one as I don't have the need. Looking at the pictures not sure how it could be really bad, but of course they don't show the angles it folds nor how it holds.

hrcjon, FWIW, Mishaco's got one on a BREN pistol in one of his videos. I don't claim that's an endorsement, but it does show locking/unlocking and angle of deployment.

No experience with those but have a few of the HERA side folding units and am very happy with tnem. As mentioned above, not the purpose of the LAW design.

^^^ Interesting - German made, about the same place, and the clasp holding it in place doesn't stick out as much as it does with the SB unit when the stock is folded.

I should know better than to beta-test, but I'm seriously kicking around the idea of a BRN-180, and I haven't found an ideal solution yet for putting a folding stock on a Yugo AK.

Short barrel Wolf T91 upper with this and a Tailhook brace would be the bees knees for a compact setup (and would cost less than the BRN180 upper alone)
