Took my UMP out for some range time today. Originally bought 25 years ago as a gray USC, I had it converted to take UMP mags about 20 years ago, but didn’t get around to SBRing it until this year. It’s been a few years since I shot it, and forgot the trigger was so heavy, and being .45 cal direct blowback, it’s a bit of a thumper. But it’s very accurate and it wasn’t hard to quickly get back on target. Ran the first few shots unsuppressed and then slapped on the Mojave 45 for the rest. 100% reliable and no gas issues at all.  | ||

Not quite. It’s a little high with the rear peep flipped up, but I normally have it set to the rear notch so it’s out of the way. I’ve got a new top rail on the way which I’m hoping will be a little lower as it will sit on top of the receiver. | |||
